Becker Town Hall is the location for voting for all township residents. It is also the location for three routine meetings each month as well as other meetings as noted in each section below.
Becker Town Board Meetings - These grassroots government meetings are the location where local residents can come in to talk directly to those whom they have elected to be Township Supervisors. While prior notice is appreciated, it is not required at this level of government. These meetings are held the third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.. If a federal holiday falls on the normal meeting date, the meeting is held the following Monday (January and February). The agenda for the next meeting can be found on the Meeting Agenda and Office Hours Page of this website.

Becker Town Board, Town Planning Commission and Joint Planning Board meetings are open to the pubic.
Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and all members of the public are asked to sign in upon attending. If you have an item for the agenda, please email the clerk. Deadline is the Wednesday before the Becker Township Board Meetings. If you need to be on an agenda for a Planning Commission or Joint Planning Board meeting, you must contact the clerk or our planning and zoning staff prior to the meeting. See Speaking before the Board for further information if you wish to speak before one of these boards.
The Town Planning Commission is the recommending body for planning and zoning. They hold public hearings (public comment encouraged at that time and welcome) and make recommendations based on findings to the Joint Planning Board.
The Joint Planning Board (4th Tuesday of each month) is the body that takes final action on items. This meeting is not the location for expressing opinions or making comments, that is all to take place at the Planning Commission meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month. All public hearing notices are posted on this website, in the Patriot newspaper, at Becker City Hall and on the outside of Becker Township Hall.
In case of a necessary rescheduling of a regular Town Board meeting, there will be a notice posted both on the front of the Township Hall as well as online and at Becker City Hall. The Patriot newspaper publishes township notices.
Does your group of youth wish to see grass-roots government meeting in action? Contact the clerk to set up a date. While advance notice is not necessary, it is appreciated and allows the board an opportunity to recognize your group on the agenda for that evening.
