- Examining and auditing the Towns accounts
- Development of a recommendation for the Town Levy to be presented at the Annual Meeting
- Ongoing town hall renovations
- Discussion of planned road projects and any other road maintenance issues that arise prior to that meeting.

Notice Of Annual Meeting and Election of Officers
Becker Township, Sherburne County, Minnesota
The Citizens of the Township of Becker, County of Sherburne, State of Minnesota, who are qualified to vote at General Elections, are hereby notified that the Annual Township Election for said Township will be held at the American Legion Post 193, 12155 Hancock St., Becker, MN on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, for the following purposes:
To elect Town Supervisor Seat Three for a term of three (3) years
To elect Town Supervisor Seat One for a remainder term of (2) years
Election poll hours will be 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on said day. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday, March 18, 2025. If inclement weather also postpones the election and meeting on the third Tuesday, the Town Board shall set a date within the following thirty days.
The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:01 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. The Annual Meeting will be held at the Becker Township Hall, 12165 Hancock Street (next door to the American Legion).
The Board of Canvass will meet on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, immediately following the annual meeting.
The Township office will be open on Saturday, March 8, 2022 from 10:00 to Noon for absentee voting.
Accuracy Testing will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2022 at 11:00 am.

GENERAL NOTICE TO CONTROL OR ERADICATE NOXIOUS WEEDS
Notice is hereby given this 16TH day of July, 2024 pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 18.83, Subdivision 1 (2011), that all persons in Becker Township, Sherburne County, Minnesota, shall control or eradicate all noxious weeds on land they occupy or are required to maintain. Control or eradication may be accomplished by any lawful method, but the method(s) applied may need to be repeated in order to prevent the spread of viable noxious weed seeds and other propagating parts to other lands. Failure to comply with the general notice may mean that an individual notice, Minnesota Statutes, Section 18.83, Subdivision 2 (2011), will be issued. An individual notice may be appealed within two working days of receipt to the appeal committee in the county where the land is located.
Failure to comply with an individual notice will mean the inspector having jurisdiction may either hire the work done or seek a misdemeanor charge against the person(s) who fail to comply. If the work is hired done by the inspector, the cost can be placed as a tax upon the land and collected as other real estate taxes are collected. You may obtain a list of the plants that are designated noxious and the members of the appeal committee from your County Agricultural Inspector or County-Designated Employee. You can also obtain this information from your Local Weed Inspectors. Local Weed Inspectors include the township supervisors, city mayors or their appointed assistants.
