You need to file with the Township Clerk. Either contact the clerk to find out how to file, or you can go to the Minnesota Office of the Secretary of State, fill out an Affidavit of Candidacy, print out four copies of the form. Then bring into the Clerk's office to allow verification of township residence and sign the forms in front of the clerk, who will then notarize the form's for you.
